Back in 2018 when regularly importing and exporting S30 Datsun Z cars I imported this car from California for a customer who hoped to do classic rallies in it with his son, but the best laid plans……His son never really took an interest so the venture never took off and here we are a few years later with the car available for sale again.
It is a super solid rust free example in excellent condition throughout and runs and drives very nicely with plenty of power on hand from the L28 engine and a nice gear shift courtesy of the strong Borg Warner T5 gearbox that was the best version of any of the gearboxes used in later model Datsuns.

Repainted to a good driver level standard around 15 years ago, it still presents well.
Original interior is in good condition
15 inch König Rewind alloys with nearly new tyres fitted
Odometer reads 75,000 and is believed to be genuine mileage but not documented so taken as hearsay
Although exempt, it was given a first MOT on import to ensure all OK and has done very little mileage since, in fact just 350 miles.
Last Summer the owner took it to Fourways (leading Z specialist) for routine service work and a check over and they were very impressed with the excellent condition of the bodywork. The original Hitachi SU carbs were sent off to Z Therapy in the States for a complete rebuild and re-fitted and balanced.
Having imported and owned many S30 Z cars over the years I can confidently say there isn’t a better 240Z on sale in the UK at this price point. Export enquiries welcome and assistance with transport given.
