Look at this gorgeous rare in one colour Velvet Green original paint splitscreen, this is a well dialled in bus that has been used weekly throughout the summer. You can just jump in and go anywhere very reliable , it’s got a killer look with amazing patina.
Mechanically it’s running a 1776 motor with upgraded twin carb set up , we took the original gearbox to John Walklett and had him put in taller 3,4th gears but still on the big nut transmission, it cruises at 65-70 not over revving and nice and quiet, well as quiet as a 67 Kombi ever will be!
The bus had a full mechanical by Irvs Restos when it came into the country, since then its been very well serviced by them annually. Brakes are drums with duel master cylinders which work very well.
The interior is a one off built by Nick at Airteriors he does some of the best interiors in the game, look them up !! The rusty lee bench seat folds down into a bed, there is also another rear facing buddy seat which can fold away when not in use. The interior has a wrath of useful little storage areas in which one has a table stored.
Within this Kombi is a bluetooth retro styled stereo system, it’s loud, really loud! Hugely uprated speakers, tweeters and amps are all discreetly fitted, the two speakers at the rear are very rare 360″ vintage speakers.
It’s got quite a bit of an interesting history this one have been previously fitted at one point with an electric Motor!
Viewings welcome.
