1979 Beetle Karmann (Convertible)

This is an original example of a classic Beetle Karmann 1979
Restoring this vehicle was my number one priority for years but unfortunately due to health issues I have been unable to complete it.
The car is 90% complete and simply just needs the interior finishing. I do have the interior though which includes Cream leather high back seats with green piping and 4 brand new cream leather door panels still in the box.
Engine wise ,the car is complete. It was initially taken out at garage 87 (VW specialist) where they converted it to Carburetor as was recommended this. The carburetor has been fully reconditioned aswell. I do still have all the parts to change it to fuel injection though.

The Body is painted in a beautiful original VW colour named Pastel white and looks new.
The car is originally from California so isn’t your typical rot box sat in our weather
Since all this effort has gone into it ,the car has been dry stored ever since.
There has been no expense spared,like I said this project was my pride and joy.
